Anamnesis 211126 Released

Previous savegames are not compatible.

It took some pushing and rushing in the end but here's the new version with all those fixes, about 15 days late according to my initial calculations, but still within November so it's all fine. A bit of a shame that the chance to get a version named 211111 is gone forever though.

I wouldn't be surprised if I broke more stuff than I fixed though, what with having to drug myself silly on painkillers just to be able to sleep a few hours a day over the course of the last month and whatnot, so to avoid having to unnecessarily delay other hypothetical bugfixes I'll probably wait a while before going on to have technological diffusion affect other game systems. Also because December is going to be murder work-wise, more pipes in the weekends and back to the railways during most working weeks.

Change Log:

  • There is now a Technology Diffusion value, displayed in the "Colony" information screen deciding which units are more likely to be available. This value is mainly governed by the available territories in each cycle and existing lobbies depending on their current power.
  • Some auctions will now be clock ones, starting with a high, gradually decreasing price until the player or a competitor decides to pay the asking price for the item.
  • Players can now call on bonded renascents for challenges and competitions even when outcast.
  • Truces with enemy units will now prevent them from extracting the Arkhe of the territory they occupy or encroach into others.
  • The rate at which new relic pieces appear won't be so negatively affected by having a few destroyed territories in a cycle.
  • Some feyfolk might now like technology a little bit too much.
  • 22 new units.
  • 4 new social contexts.
  • Players can now research The Punisher of Kings and get proper empires from feyfolk. They also won't cause the death of absent-minded civilians that stumble upon them when hiding, won't be able to sell the same unit infinitely, and will probably suffer less game crashes. Other aristocrats will also keep their opinions to themselves after their deaths.
