Unexpected Performance Improvement

I updated the game to the newest version of the Ren'Py engine this week and was pleasantly surprised to find out that now Anamnesis runs basically seamlessly even in my modest computer.

Because of some kind of magic, whereas processing a game turn used to take between 3 to 5 seconds, now it's done basically instantly. Even generating new game worlds is a lot faster now. I don't know if this will also happen in all computers, but you'll probably notice at least some improvements on your end too starting with the next version.

Funny story though, I updated very warily because the previous version of the engine a few months ago almost killed Anamnesis.

Other than that, I was pretty tired of writing child events at this point so I'm glad it's over now. There's a relic I'd really like to add next and I'll try to seize on the chance because relics are generally some of the most uninteresting content for me to write for some reason.
