Romantic Adventures and Interactions in Captivity

Since the jobs are going to take a while, I've tossed in the development of romantic adventures.

While working on the different terrains, you can now meet randomly generated individuals that might be interested in your character, allowing you to choose to have an adventure. This will depend on your Merits/Eidolas, and you might in theory have unlimited romances, but with each new one, the next will be tougher to achieve.

This, like regular romances, have no consequence in game yet, other than being reflected in the status screen for you to feel proud about.

The other addition is one that I had previously removed, that is, the ability to develop any kind of relationship, good or bad, with captive renascents, ruled by your avatar's character just the same. I previously removed it because, being allies limited and enemies unlimited, you would tend to end up with more enemy than allied buddies, but now that populations are tracked, that was fixed.

Mind you, even if I say romance, the game won't include any explicit adult content, and any suggestive theme can be overridden by choosing the option "Irrelevant Gender" at the beginning of the game, with no further consequences to gameplay.

  1. Is this romance in captivity feature still available?

I have a renascant in captivity who I would like to woo but no interaction options appear when resting. Do I need to upgrade my refuge or perform some other action?

It would also be nice in these situations if it were possible to reform or influence a captive renascent, converting them to a partner. (although this may not endear you to other members of your faction)

    1. Funny that you should bring this up, this is precisely one of the reasons for an extra screen to exist under the Forces menu. Back then interactions were carried there, which allowed for captive units to be wooed.

There were a series of reasons involved to discontinue interactions with captive renascents, but I might be able to put them back in some time soon.
