Investments in Novel Ideas

From now on, investments in new ideas that haven't been tried before will still be as risky, but will offer much increased returns if the investment turns out right.

In order to make investments a little more realistic, if you continue scouting before throwing your money at an idea, you'll get more data to allow you to make the right choice but you'll also be losing the chance to hit a new awesome idea that will make you rich.

This means that if you get an investment proposal that has been tried in a certain way less than 3 times in total, the potential revenue will be significantly increased. These extra rewards will stack up, meaning that a completely novel idea might yield almost 3 times as much revenue as a tried and true one, but a new method to implement a tried idea might still yield about a 20% increase in profits. Investing in something that has been tried 1 or 2 times will still yield an increased reward, but not as much as a completely novel investment.

The game will show the expected revenue for each investment proposal after all these calculations are made, so all you have to remember in-game is that novel ideas tend to pay more. The tips will also show you a reminder just in case.
