In the next version, you won't just "Use" a relic to win the game. Instead you will "End this age and seal" the relic in question. The big difference is that the assembled relic will be available for you to reactivate in the next age.
In following eras, you'll be able to reactivate and employ assembled relics right away at a cost of 7700 each, doubling the price for any other previously reactivated relic. You'll be able to collect relics in this way during the course of different games, since the game will make sure that you don't get the same relic twice in 2 different eras.
The idea is to be taking steps towards a greater endgame and allow the new eras to feel as something more than a dignified reset. In this or following releases we'll see more inter-age stuff and perhaps we'll even get to continue playing after game overs, but with negative consequences instead of positive ones. I'm honestly not sure where the whole thing will end up going yet.
To make the use of relics a little more fun, their assembled use will have a few flavour messages and they'll get their own submenu while staying home, like abilities currently do.
Additionally, I've also taken a few steps towards wealth tracking. The game makes a distinction now between your personal wealth, untapped wealth and the enemy wealth and shows each one along with the total combined value under the "Colony" screen.
The enemy will now start with as much wealth as you do, and will occasionally invest it in annoying you in different ways, but I'm still working on that.
