Immigration, Economics and Megalomania

I'm kind of satisfied with the way the basic politics are looking up. Now I just have to find an interesting way to allow the player to present dynamic proposals adapted to each game.

Lobbies now put forward their own proposals for voting if they have enough power. If they have too much power however, they might start to get illusions of grandeur and make crazy proposals, so that's another thing to watch out for. Likewise, if they are too weak they'll attempt desperate measures to achieve more power.

Once you have a puppet in power you'll be able to veto any action, but that will cost Merits, so you'll have to consider your risks first. There will be certain desperate acts that might be in your best interests not to suppress anyway.

You can also cash in favours in a more direct way from lobbies now. Instead of just securing their votes, you will also be able to request a series of things from each lobby.

The stuff they can offer in exchange for a favour will vary. Some lobbies will be able to provide you with wealth, others with honorary titles to increase your merits. Some others might mediate with your enemies to lower the local tension, and yet some others might offer military assistance to grant you the strategic advantage. The extent of these aids will depend of the lobby's current power.

Furthermore, there are now three important values displayed on the map; Weekly Stalwart Immigration, Weekly Influenced Immigration, and Overall Economic Rating.

They are rather self explanatory really. Immigration is how many colonists from each faction will on average arrive (or leave) the colony over the course of a week, while the Economic Rating is a value either added or discounted from each territory's Arkhe production.

At least for now, these three values will be changed exclusively through voting.
