Previous savegames are not compatible.
EDIT: Bugfix version 120826a available. The game was previously not displaying each unit's ability to carry projects requiring anything other than Resistance. No new saves are necessary this time.
There, a little release with no real extra content that should at least make the stats and affinities a little clearer.
I had already started to add the objectives to the game so you will be able to get a peek of what direction the game will be taking during the following weeks.
Right now, you will be introduced to an objective at the beginning of each game that you won't be able to complete until the quests are added in future releases. I'll get into more detail about the whole thing once the questing system is less rough around the edges.
Change Log:
- Affinities are now displayed when choosing units for any task.
- Each unit's potential for projects is shown when they are being selected.
- Added a (hopefully) comprehensive explanation of each stat where the stat descriptions used to be.
- Misc minor fixes.
The stat page is great, I understand so much more about combat now.
ReplyDeleteCool, I had doubts about using popular real life historical references inside the game, but I think they get the point through in few words.
Deletei understand each stat from the mechanical description without needing a reference, but i don't mind either way
